Wuzhen is located in Tongxiang City, adjacent to Nanxun District of Huzhou City in Zhejiang Province. It has a long history of more than 1,300 years. It belongs to the six major water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Whether it is from Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, you can take a high-speed rail, or take the intercity express free travel, and a day trip to there, as it features great accessibility.
If you go to the East Bank of the Wuzhen Water Town, you will enter from West Street and follows the river to the Shuangyuan Bridge to the opposite attraction area. Go along the bank all the way until the Mao Dun Memorial Hall. From the exit, there is a drama stage as well as the Chinese shadow puppetry. Going left and going straight, you will reach the Huiyuan pawn shop. And these are the attractions on East Bank. Then you can go back to the hotel to have a rest and go to play the West Bank at 16:00 or 17:00 pm. There is a free boat ride to the opposite side of Anyuan Square. - Sitting on sculling boat is a very popular experience in Wuzhen, which is available on both East Bank and West Bank. The boat must wait till there are full of person on the boat.
- You can go to the old post office to send a postcard to your relatives or friends, and they will see a unique postmark when they receive it.
- During the holiday or Wuzhen Drama Festival, Wuzhen is very crowded, you’re your accommodation in the West Bank area needs to be booked early.

Zhouzhuang is the earliest ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River that is famous all over the world. It is known as the “first water town in China”. The waterways in the town are vertical and horizontal. The old buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are built by the river. The double bridges painted by the artist Chen Yifei portray the gentleness of the small bridges and the South Lake in the south of the ancient town is wide and beautiful. At night, Zhou Zhuang lit up the lights, and you will have exciting mood there.
The houses of ancient architecture are well preserved. The main thing is that the old houses are very cool, not hot at all. The trees on both sides are also very shaded. So, you don’t feel hot when you have a visit there on June and July. You can sit by the river and drink and chat with friends, and see the people coming and going. The cool breeze will make you very comfortable and enjoyable.
The Seven Star Park is very big. If the weather is good, you can take a leisurely stroll, but the tickets are expensive and do not include Qixing Cave. There is also a zoo that will charge for ticket. If you don’t go there, buying a park & Qixingyan discount package ticket of 65 Yuan is acceptable. Qixing Cave is still quite big and still a bit shady. It takes 30 minutes to enter a group of tourists. There are guides to explain it. And it will take about 50 minutes for the sightseeing of the cave. The park has a nice view and there is a famous hump mountain in the park, which is suitable for the whole family to play there. Qixing Cave, zoo, CS shooting and other projects are charged separately.
Fenghuang Ancient Town is located in the southwestern part of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province. It is a gathering place of ethnic minorities mainly composed of Miao and Tujia. The ancient town has beautiful scenery and many historical sites. In the town, the ancient city building is made of purple red sandstone, the suspended buildings are built along the banks of the Tuo River, the ancient and simple style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties remains, the oil-green Tuo River flows quietly; the Nanhua Mountain National Forest Park is outside the town. In addition, there are some other famous attractions such as The Qiliang Cave of the City Art Palace, the Huangsiqiao ancient town which was built in the Tang Dynasty, and the scenic Great Southern Great Wall. The morning fog of the ancient town is very beautiful, and the lights are very gorgeous at night. There is no accommodation on Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area, so it will be highly recommended you finish your tour there in one day. There is a “Cherry Bay Restaurant” near Tianmenshan Temple, which offers snacks and fast food.
There are so many people travelling in Tianmen Mountain every day, and most of them think that going up the mountain from the ladder and the escalator is much funnier. At the top of the mountain, it is recommended to start from the east line so that you won’t go back. After wandering around the top, just go to the ropeway and take the cableway down the mountain.
